ABOUT US

The Gospel of Jesus Christ

It is true that a well-established church is founded and built upon the gospel of Jesus – that He is the Christ [Sent One]; that He came to earth as God incarnated to die for the human race. He was born of the Virgin Mary and that He was without Sin; He was crucified by the very ones He came to save from God’s wrath; that He was buried and rose from the grave after three days, and now lives to make intercession for humankind.
GHFC is not a traditional church. It is a purpose-driven church for the unchurched – based on the Biblical Foundation for the purposes of the church – The Great Commandment and the Great Commission as outlined by Rick Warren (pastor, Saddleback Church – “How to Be a Purpose Driven CHURCH”) – and a place where those of like faith can use their God-given gifts and talents to bring joy, and add value to others’ lives and their own without being judged – all to glorify God.

The importance of spiritual gifts and talents

It is also true that God has given us natural TALENTS to do things; and some, the Holy Spirit has given GIFTS to serve each other. GRACE and HOPE FELLOWSHIP CENTER (GHFC) recognizes those special expressions, often expressed in such art forms as singing, music, writing, poetry, comedy, painting, storytelling/drama, and much more. Those who are spiritually filled have the gift of teaching, administration, evangelism, helping, prayer, preaching, speaking in tongues, healing, giving, etc.
At GHFC, we provide a platform whereby your gifts and talents are combined as an expression of WORSHIP to God who endowed you with them; and we believe when you use them in a way that expresses self and sanctity – God is glorified. When was the last time you visited a church or maybe you were a part (member) of one where poetry or comedy was on the “Service” program for that particular service? Many believe that the worship service is not the place for such expressions of your God-given talents, and yet they fail to provide a forum to recognize that special talent in you.

Living a Christ- Centered Life

Urges believers to focus on Christ, set their minds on heavenly things, and reject sinful behaviors like anger, greed, and impurity. Instead, they should embrace kindness, humility, love, and forgiveness, living in unity. Let Christ’s peace rule in their hearts, and always give thanks to God (Colossians 3:1-17).

Non-traditional approach to worship and service

Some may frown at the idea of a non-traditional gathering and that’s fine, we don’t judge – it’s not the place you want to be – WE UNDERSTAND. But what if you were to drop in? Maybe you can receive something and share something yourself – maybe you’ll discover what you’ve been searching for all along – an expression of self without being judged!
Maybe the traditional churches have left much to be desired. Maybe it’s the reason – until now – that you are not a part of its establishment or maybe it’s the reason you haven’t been there in a long time [tired of being invisible]!
Come visit us (online or in person) and experience the difference. Let us build and strengthen each other together. Thank you for listening or reading. I sincerely hope it would have been worth your time when you do visit. Please bring a friend and/or the whole family so you can share this experience together. MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU NOW AND FOREVER.
